記号やかたちを素材として捉え、分解と再構成をくり返す。

紙は本来、記録し、伝え、包むなど、人の営みを支えるためにつくられた素材です。

私は紙パルプを使い、乾燥や湿度、天候などの環境による変化を取り込みながら制作しています。
古紙や広告、包装紙など身近な紙を水に溶かし、
支持体とメディウムを横断しながら、素材自体が像として立ち現れる瞬間を探っています。

モチーフは構成のための仮の記号として扱っています。


Treating signs and forms as materials, I repeat processes of deconstruction and reconstruction.

Paper is a material originally developed to record, communicate, and wrap—to support human activities.

I dissolve discarded paper, including advertisements and packaging materials, in water, returning it to fibers before reconstructing it.

Incorporating environmental changes such as dryness, humidity, and weather into the process, I explore moments in which the material itself emerges as image, traversing the boundary between support and medium.

Motifs are treated as provisional signs for composition.
